Vineyard:
Vrancea is also known as “The land of the wine” and is located near the Carpathian mountains. Vrancea is the largest wine producing district in Romania, representing 11% of the country’s cultivated area under vines.
Climate / Quality of the soil:
The climate is continental and it provides excellent conditions for the development of high-quality varieties – a convenient regime of precipitations, nutrient rich soils with a chemistry that lends itself particularly for the cultivation of vines.
Winemaking process:
Hand harvesting at full maturity; grapes carefully selected
De-stemming
Gently crushed
Skin maceration for 8-10 hours in stainless still tanks at max.14°C
Controlled fermentation for 14 days at 14°C

Wine composition:
Alcohol: 13%
Total acidity: 6.53 g/L
Residual sugar: 9.26 g/L
Winemaker comments:
A fresh and fruity medium dry wine, with a bright pale yellow-green colour, fine aromas of grass and wildflowers; tones of citrus and melon; lingering and delicate aftertaste. Complex wine, elegant and well balanced.
Food matches:
Enjoy it as an aperitif or with fish and sea food dishes. It could be also served with salads and light cheeses
